Are you jewellery obsessed

Are You Jewellery Obsessed?

Are you jewellery obsessed?

I am, from gem stone rings for celebrating special occasions to a necklace or new earrings just because.

I have to say rings are my most favourite.

So working with a jeweller is a dangerous game.

In fact Alan owner at Sarah Beth fondly calls me a magpie, well I hope it’s fondly ;).

Whenever something new arrives, I eagerly rush towards the parcel to take a look.

So this month I thought I would share some of the most beautiful pieces that have arrived recently.

Sapphire and Diamond White Gold Cocktail Dress Cluster Ring

This stunning looking ring from Hatton Garden has a lovely quality feel.

If you like a ring with wow factor then this is the one. It is a very unusual design that has been made with fourteen marquise cut sapphires; they are set almost like petals on a flower teamed with ten diamonds.

It is beautiful, set in white gold a real stunner. If you like to start conversations with your jewellery, this ring will most definitely do that.

Sterling Silver Green Agate and Marcasite Drop Earrings

These lovely earrings remind me of the roaring 1920’s, they have a real art deco look and feel about them. Their geometric shapes are very stylish the marcasite stones compliment the shade of green agate perfectly.

These earrings would be a great addition to any jewellery box, I think they will be added to mine at some stage.

 Rose Shaped Sterling Silver Brooch

This little brooch is so beautifully made and I think would look great on the lapel of a coat or jacket.

The brooch may be a little old fashioned for some, but it does have a timeless feel about it.

It is definitely something I would consider owning myself or a great gift for a friend.

Yellow Gold Diamond Eternity Ring

Now this fabulous ring is my absolute favourite at the moment

From Hatton Garden London the diamonds are so beautiful adding up to one full carat; this ring would grace anyone’s finger.

Seven graduated diamonds the biggest in the centre it has so much sparkle.

Although I like white gold I think the yellow gold sets it off perfectly.

I like to think of rings each having their own story, in the context of why they were purchased or given and how they are then part of the owner’s life story. It’s what they represent that is the most important and interesting thing.

The possibility and excitement in trying on your first diamond ring, maybe for an upcoming engagement, can be a very emotional and hopefully happy occasion.

An eternity ring can be given as a gift when a first child is born or as in an older tradition after 10 years of marriage. It can symbolise the enduring love of marriage or wonderful event.

Of course there are lots of ways you can mark an event but working with jeweller as I do and loving all things that glitter I can’t think of anything better.

As you can imagine many of our lovely customers are jewellery obsessed, one of those people is Jan. She was absolutely delighted with a recent purchase of this fabulous ring to mark a special wedding anniversary; she now wears it together with her original engagement ring that was renovated by our very own goldsmith.
