What are continental fittings you may ask?

This selection of earrings that are all fitted with a type of hook that fits securely on the ear. This unique style of hook has a lever back that opens to slot through the pierced ear and then closes to secure it into place.

This provides a way to wear your earrings in a safe way, thus helping to prevent them falling out and being lost.

As well as being a useful design they are simple clean and sophisticated adding a touch of elegance to an already beautiful piece of jewellery.

They are much more difficult to find than traditional hooks and butterfly backs, so we are pleased to be able to offer them to our valued customers.
